I normally wouldn't feel compelled to review a car dealership after having gone through the usual struggle of buying a car, but Malick and the rest of the folks at Shottenkirk made the process so much simpler than what I'm used to and I feel like I walked away with a great car at a great price.

I recently received service at Shottenkirk Nissan in Katy. I've been a customer for years. I did not pre schedule and was received in a great customer-focused manner. That flexibility is great when squeezing things into your schedule. Due to a recall the work was a bit lengthy. The estimate was approximately 3 hours. The waiting area was very small and there wasn't any complimentary coffee, tea or water as in past visits. However, the shuttle service was active and I was promptly transported to and from the nearby mall upon request within minutes of arrival. My service advisor Mario Compean III was outstanding. He was polite, professional and informative. He communicated via text in real time and addressed all of my questions. My overall experience was very positive. They even corrected an issue with my battery that I didn't know about. I left feeling confident in the work performed, and I had a sense of ease knowing that a competent team was in place if any follow-up was needed. This customer appreciates great service, respect of my time and a personable team. It makes the investment worth it.

My reviews for the Katy Nissan Service front line team remains stellar! I walked in (in the afternoon) for routine maintenance. They took me in right away. The work was completed in under 40 minutes. I needed additional work. Faith Payne did an exceptional job explaining what I needed. She gave me an accurate TAT and I picked up my car the same evening. Thank you Faith! November 2025 Another 5 star service at Shottenkirk Nissan. June 2025 Mario Compean III -in service is everything! He introduced himself as the handsome one so that’s what I call him. I take my vehicles in to Katy Nissan and I’m never disappointed. Car #4 will be a Nissan just for the service team. Excellent customer service will ALWAYS keep me coming back! Q1 2025 - New purchase First and most importantly shout outs! Mario Compean III “the handsome” one in SERVICE - nothing short of efficient, reliable, and exceptional. The service is great overall at Shottenkirk but Mario elevates customer care - Thank you. Mehran Abedini “soldier” in SALES is an OG. I was blessed to encounter him last week as I was looking for a new car. He was informative, laid back but patient to hear what I needed. Not once did he try to upsell me he let me see the most basic to the platinum. During the negotiations he never made me feel like I had to take the offer on the table. I signed as a happy customer and still no buyers remorse - thank you sir! Noah Francis “the youngest” FINANCE MANAGER… I never felt the pressure of the buy in his office - the money man has typically been this man in the clouds I don’t ever get to see…Noah chose to treat me as an individual. I was so impressed by how thorough and efficient he was. He quickly provided education, used lay terms, even drew a diagram to make sure I understood my options. He is a great pepper of energy and will be a tremendous asset to the team - thank you such pleasant experience. Background… When I moved to Katy, my Nissan service team was too far to travel. I went to (now) Shottenkirk and the service has kept me there for over 5 years. I decide what make of car to purchase based on the quality of the dealership’s service department. After all, I only spend hours with the sales team but years with the service department. I have purchased 2 more Nissans to ensure I continue to receive the exceptional service they offer. What makes their service great? They give you a direct line of communication - no getting stuck in a loop or never ending hold! They manage expectations. They deliver on what they tell you and if they can’t they communicate. They service what’s needed. They strive to meet the customer’s needs. The environment is clean! December 2025
